Q4 2024 Q&A
What were the themes for you on LinkedIn 2024?
Last year was all about authenticity, resilience, and breaking barriers.
I focused on sharing my personal story from growing up on a council estate to becoming a Senior Paralegal at Kingsley Napley and proving that your background doesn't define your future.
Posts about mental health, social mobility, and celebrating non-traditional pathways into law resonated deeply with my network.
It became clear that being open about challenges, achievements, and lived experiences not only inspires others but also helps normalise conversations around inclusion and opportunity.
What are your predictions for LinkedIn in 2025?
I think LinkedIn will continue to move towards more human focused content. People are craving real stories and connections, so I expect to see even more personal journeys and reflections driving engagement.
Multimedia formats like videos, carousels, and polls will keep growing as ways to make content more interactive and relatable.
I also believe skills based learning and alternative career paths like apprenticeships will take the spotlight, encouraging people to rethink what "success" looks like.
Communities and niche networks will keep expanding, providing spaces to collaborate and support each other.
Plus, AI tools will make it easier to create and personalise content, helping people share their stories more effectively.
What would you say in a single sentence to compel other people to get going on LinkedIn?
Your story, no matter where it starts, can inspire someone else to rewrite theirs, so show up, share it, and remind people that success isn't about fitting in...it's about showing what makes you stand out.
